What is Fascia?
Fascia is a complex network of connective tissue that envelops muscles, bones, nerves, blood vessels, and organs throughout the body. It provides structural support from the skin to the cellular level. Healthy fascia allows fluid movement, but factors like poor posture, stress, injury, or surgery can cause it to become rigid, leading to pain and reduced mobility. Because fascia is highly innervated with sensory nerves, it is constantly communicating with the brain, forming a mind-body connection.

What is Myofascial Release?
Myofascial release is a specialized form of physical therapy that focuses on relieving tension and pain in the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds muscles and organs. The technique involves applying gentle, sustained pressure to areas of tightness or restriction in the fascia. This helps to release built-up tension, improve blood flow, and restore flexibility and function. By targeting these areas, myofascial release can help alleviate pain, improve range of motion, and support overall physical well-being.

Myofascial Release can be effective in reducing or eliminating:
- Chronic pain
- Complex Pain
- Back/Neck pain
- Hip/knee pain
- Shoulder pain
- Poor posture
- Neuromuscular Dysfunction
- Scoliosis
- Sciatica
- Headaches
- Jaw pain/TMJ
- Fibromyalgia
